Due to COVID-19 we will be offering this class at a later date and possibly with a virtual component.

Pickling is an easy, fun and healthful way to preserve summer’s garden bounty. And, pickled veggies taste so GOOD!

Learn basic brines and methods for preservation from a woman who has successfully picked just about any vegetable you can name. Instruction, recipes and tasting included.

Cost: $25
Register by July 6.

Candace Minster serves as garden and fiber projects coordinator for White Violet Center for Eco-Justice. Her focus is on expanding the flower operation and working with fiber from our alpacas. She has been a member of the White Violet Center team for over 15 years. Her areas of expertise include organic gardening, growing flowers, worm composting, food preservation (canning, fermentation, pickling),  fiber arts (knitting, spinning and weaving) and fiber processing.
