In continuation of the Faith Thinkers’ Series, Indiana State Professor Emeritus Dr. Arthur Feinsod will focus on Viktor Frankl’s Man’s Search for Meaning, a life-changing book by a Jewish psychologist, who came out of his years in concentration camps realizing that the key to Holocaust survival – and psychological wellness universally — is in attaining self-transcendence; finding spiritual clarity and purpose; serving others; and pursuing one’s life’s meaning. This became the basis of logotherapy, his school of psychoanalysis that contradicted the centrality of the pleasure principle for the Freudians and the will to power of the Adlerian School. Previous experience in earlier seminars is not necessary.
