Unity Retreat Afternoon for Daughters and Sons of Abraham

Are you a member of the Jewish tradition? A Muslim? A Christian? Then you’re a daughter or son of Abraham and Sarah and you’re invited to this Unity Retreat.

We’ll have opportunities to share what unites us through prayer, song, quiet time and dialogue. All are welcome!

Cost is $15 per person or we would appreciate any free will donations. Please register by Nov. 9. You have an option to join us virtually or in-person.

If you are registering for the virtual session, we will send you a link to join us when registered and the materials will be emailed to you.

If you are registering for the in-person session in the Foley room at Providence Spirituality & Conference center, please note that it’ll be first come first served and there will be a limit of 10 people.

Sister Paula Damiano, SP

Sister Paula Damiano, SP, is co-director of Providence Spirituality & Conference Center and has led retreats and workshops on a variety of spiritual topics in the United States and in Canada, Europe and Asia. She has a special interest in combining art and music in retreat work. She has a bachelor’s degree in art education, a master’s degree in spirituality from Fordham University and a certificate in business executive management. Sister Paula is the former high school teacher, diocesan vocation director, Congregation vocation director, associate pastor and provincial councilor, also served as a Sisters of Providence General Officer for 10 years.

Terry Gillies Fear

Terry Gillies Fear, a native of Michigan and Illinois resident, taught in the Jasper County, Illinois public schools for 35 years.  She has a BS, Ed and MS, Ed from Eastern Illinois University and a MS, Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.  She currently is Vice President-Secretary of United Hebrew Congregation in Terre Haute and a founding member of the InterFaith Council of the Wabash Valley where she serves as Vice President.  Terry is also a member of the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center Guild in Mattoon, IL.

Dr. Arthur Feinsod

Dr. Arthur Feinsod (BA Harvard, MA UC Berkeley, and PhD NYU) is Professor in the Indiana State Theater Department and Honors College and is President of the InterFaith Council of the Wabash Valley.  He is also a professional playwright, director and theater history scholar. Between 2001 and 2014 he served as Artistic Director of Crossroads Repertory Theatre. He has been recognized at Indiana State with the Caleb Mills Award, the Faculty Member of the Year Award from the Honors College, and, just recently, the Theodore Dreiser Distinguished Research/Creativity Award.

Dr. Riem Rostom

Dr. Riem Rostom is an assistant professor at Indiana State University, a wife and a proud mom. The United States has been her home for more than 20 years, but her family originated from Slovenia and Egypt. Her upbringing was a mixture in faiths and culture, which shaped how she embraces life.
