February 28 - February 29

White Violet Center for Eco-Justice

1 Sisters of Providence
Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, IN 47876

Open for registration. Registration deadline: February 27, 2020.

Friday, Feb. 28; 6-8 p.m. & Saturday, Feb 29; 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

This workshop will help you get your weaving skills back in shape!

If you’ve done a bit of weaving in the past, but feel like you need a refresher course or just some hand-holding as you warp your loom–this is the class for you. We will warp looms on Friday evening from 6 p.m. -8 p.m. and weave a series of mug rug coasters on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Participants should plan on bringing their own lunch. Program cost includes instruction, supplies, and refreshments.

While this class is designed for people who have previous weaving experience, we have limited spaces available for absolute beginners. WVC will have floor looms and weaving yarns provided, though weavers may bring their own portable floor looms if desired. Rigid heddle weavers are required to bring their own looms.

Please contact Fiber Projects Coordinator, Candace Minster, cminster@spsmw.org or 812-535-2935 for further questions.
