Are you 12-to-18 year olds? Come share your time and talents with our retired Sisters of Providence at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Visit with elder sisters and help them with activities such as Bingo, exercise, baking, attending events and more. Your presence will brighten a sisters’ day!

Each Saturday opportunity is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Teens will gather at 9 a.m. in the lobby of Providence Spirituality and Conference Center at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that allow you to be mobile. Lunch is provided.

Sister Joni Luna, SP

Sister Joni Luna has a long history of working with young people, having served as a teacher and coach much of her adult life. She currently ministers as children's program director and outreach coordinator at Miracle Place neighborhood ministry in Indianapolis. She is a native of San Antonio, Texas. She entered the Sisters of Providence in 2012 after spending many years as a physical education teacher, athletic director and coach in Texas. In addition to her education degree, Sister Joni has a master's in educational administration and supervision.
