NOTE: Due to the new restricted guidelines offered from the CDC, Taizé prayer services in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in April and May are canceled.
Slow down and unplug at this hour-long service that began in Taizé, Saône-et-Loire, Burgundy, France. Each service includes prayer, simple beautiful music, a time for silence and inspirational readings. Songs are sung many times over as a prayer of the heart. All faith traditions are welcome.
The theme for the year 2020 is “Act justly, Love tenderly, Walk humbly” from Micah 6:8.
A freewill collection is taken at each service and donated to a different nonprofit organization or charity. Taizé prayer service is offered on the second Tuesday of each month.
