To “saunter” means to walk in a slow, relaxed manner, without hurry or effort; a leisurely stroll. So, come and stroll with the woman, the foundress, the Saint – the one responsible for the Woods being the Woods – Saint Mother Theodore Guerin.

We will learn some little known facts about this great Saint of God, as well as deepen our appreciation of her struggles and joys while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Woods.

Cost is $10 per person. Please register by June 13.

Sister Jan Craven, SP, is director of the Shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin and the National Shrine of Our Lady of Providence. She is co-director of Providence Spirituality & Conference Center. She holds master’s degrees in spirituality and in the philosophy of religion and theology. She is a former teacher, director of religious education, pastoral associate, provincial councilor and tribunal advocate as well as the former director of postulants at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
