Retreat for Busy Moms

NOTE: Due to the new restricted guidelines offered from the CDC, Retreat for Busy Moms is canceled.

Take a well-deserved break and give your mind, body, and soul a much-needed boost. Bring along your girlfriends who also need some serious self-care. Throughout the weekend you’ll deepen your relationship with Christ as you enjoy quiet reflection, spiritual enrichment, and sharing with other women. Be inspired by all that is sacred at the Woods. We’ll end the retreat sharing in
the bounty of Sunday Brunch at beautiful O’Shaughnessy Hall.

Cost: $230 includes lodging and meals; $185 per person if you’d like to share a room; $140 without lodging including meals.
Registration deadline: March 12 with lodging; March 20 without lodging.

Sister Paula Damiano, SP

Sister Paula Damiano, SP, is co-director of Providence Spirituality & Conference Center and has led retreats and workshops on a variety of spiritual topics in the United States and in Canada, Europe and Asia. She has a special interest in combining art and music in retreat work. She has a bachelor’s degree in art education, a master’s degree in spirituality from Fordham University and a certificate in business executive management. Sister Paula is the former high school teacher, diocesan vocation director, Congregation vocation director, associate pastor and provincial councilor, also served as a Sisters of Providence General Officer for 10 years.

Sister Jan Craven, SP

Sister Jan Craven, SP, is director of the Shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin and the National Shrine of Our Lady of Providence. She is co-director of Providence Spirituality & Conference Center. She holds master’s degrees in spirituality and in the philosophy of religion and theology. She is a former teacher, director of religious education, pastoral associate, provincial councilor and tribunal advocate as well as the former director of postulants at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
