Facing challenges with Saint Mother Theodore Guerin

February 4, 2021 at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Virtual

Open for registration. Registration deadline: February 4, 2021.

Join members of the Providence community for this virtual panel/interactive group discussion on Facing challenges with Saint Mother Theodore Guerin. Did you know that Saint Mother Theodore Guerin faced many challenges in her lifetime? Mother Theodore immigrated to a new country without knowing the language. She lived for many years with chronic health and digestion issues. She faced conflict with church leadership and had to deal with the deaths of several family members while young as well as her mother’s resulting depression. She faced religious discrimination and violence.

What can we learn about facing challenges from a saint who faced many? Join us at 7 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021. Our virtual program will begin with a panel discussion of Sister Denise Wilkinson, Sister Jan Craven, Sister Jessica Vitente and Providence Associate Helen Flavin sharing about some of the challenges Saint Mother Theodore faced and how they can relate in their own lives. We will then break into small groups in breakout rooms and all participants will have a chance to join the discussion.

Sign up below and we will send Zoom login information to you. We hope you can join our presentation and discussion!

*Registration is recommended but not required.
