Saint Mother Theodore Guerin once said, “Put yourself gently into the hands of Providence.”

Give yourself some sacred space and time at this retreat day where we will contemplate gentleness, reflect upon Scripture quotes related to gentleness and let your own inner Spirit invite you to deepen the practice of gentleness in your life.

The retreat will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Providence Hall Large Parlor.

Retreat facilitator, Sister Connie Kramer designed this retreat to give persons an opportunity “to take a long, loving look at gentleness and allow the spirit within them to reveal ways to practice gentleness in their lives and experience how to put themselves gently into the hands of Providence one day at a time and one experience at a time,”

Participants in this retreat will share some quality time alone and together to reflect upon what gentleness means to them, how they have experienced gentleness in themselves or others in their lives, what sacred scripture has to say about gentleness, and what our Earth home can teach us about gentleness.

Participants will also share prayer together to get in touch with their heart’s desires regarding the practice of gentleness in their lives, be given some educational material to help them discern how to practice gentleness more mindfully in their lives, and be invited to create their own personal commitment to gentleness towards self, others and our Earth.

Registration fee $45 includes lunch.
