Nuno Felting scarves

White Violet Center for Eco-Justice invites you to learn this exciting form of felting from 1- 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at White Violet Center, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana.

Learn this exciting form of felting that creates beautiful fabrics with lovely drape. Students will create scarves by felting alpaca and wool fibers onto a thin, gauze silk backing. This is a great opportunity to get a head start on the holiday season and create a gift for someone on your list!

Debby Green of Green Lady Designs is a nationally award-winning felt artist whose goal is to create the most fashion forward, wearable felt designs. With her technique for nuno felting, she is able to keep her felt lightweight with a beautiful drape. With her experience in acid dyeing, she creates stunning one-of-a-kind designs.
