Sisters to host beginning spinning workshop

Learn the basics of spinning your own yarn during the Beginning Spinning workshop featuring John Salamone from 1-5 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 15.

The workshop will be hosted by White Violet Center for Eco-Justice, a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana.

Spinning wheels and sheep’s wool will be available to use during the interactive workshop. You can also bring your own wheels and fiber if you choose.

The class is suitable for absolute beginners as well as those who are hoping to brush up on their skills.

Light refreshments will be available. Please indicate any food allergies or dietary preferences while registering to attend.

Cost is $75 to attend.
