Sisters to host ‘Tending to Life’ retreat

At times, life can be difficult, but whatever is experienced, the upcoming “Tending to Life” retreat hosted by the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, will offer participants with the time and space to discover ways to tend to their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual life.

The retreat will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 5, and conclude at 7 p.m., on Sunday, May 7, at various locations at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Join facilitator Sister Corbin Hannah, and through guided meditations, simple practices and self-reflection, participants will be invited to experience the Divine Life moving within and through them as well as offer care and compassion to any “dis-ease.”

Practices to be used include breathwork, embodiment, gratitude, forest bathing and more.

Vegetarian meals will be prepared as a group. All genders are welcome to attend.

Retreat house, camper and commuter prices, as well as early arrival options are available.

Cost for those who wish to stay in lodging at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is $300, while cost to stay at a campsite is $150. The commuter rate is $125. All registration fees include meals and the registration deadline is April 30.
