Sisters to host Fall Farm Day at the Woods
Bring the family to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and join the Sisters of Providence for Fall Farm Day at the Woods!
The event will take place from 1-4 p.m., on Sunday, October 2. Join the sisters during the family day filled with alpaca visits, children’s activities, fiber demonstrations, farm and 4-H demonstrations, videos and more.

Learn about the history of farming at the Woods from 1840 to the present day, which has included dairy cows, a bakery and cannery, chickens, gardens and of course, the alpacas. In addition, learn why it’s important for all of us to care for creation.
Activities will take place throughout the day, including those for adults and children.
Visit the alpacas while also watching demonstrations provided by the 4-H Alpaca Club. In addition, enjoy a demonstration on how alpaca fiber is spun into yarn, felted and woven.
Plan a visit to the Farm Store at White Violet Center for Eco-Justice or Linden Leaf Gifts at Providence Spirituality & Conference Center.
Fall treats will be available.
Admission is free, but donations would be welcome.
