Sisters to host ‘Centering Prayer/Contemplative Prayer’

Do you seek the still, quiet voice of God? Then plan on joining the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, for the upcoming “Centering Prayer/Contemplative Prayer,” scheduled to take place from 4:30-6 p.m., on Tuesday, June 14.

The workshop will take place in the Foley Room in Providence Spirituality & Conference Center.

The prayer workshop will help you understand more deeply the presence of God within everyone as well as our intimate relationship with the presence and the deepening of the relationship.

Plan on attending the workshop to learn more about this practice and if you already understand contemplative prayer, stop by anyway and share your experiences with others.

Following the workshop, enjoy a light supper beginning at 6 p.m., followed by the monthly Taizé Prayer Gathering beginning at 7 p.m.

Cost to attend is a freewill donation, but the cost for supper will be $10. The registration deadline is June 7.

Register online here or by calling 812-535-2952 or emailing jfrost@spsmw.org.
