Fundraising golf outing planned for future West Terre Haute Clinic and Pharmacy
Though the fundraising efforts for the future West Terre Haute Clinic and Pharmacy were slowed down due to COVID-19 in 2020, a couple of events have been planned for the future site.
Sister Dorothy Rasche, SP, who ministers as the director of The Connecting Link in West Terre Haute, has helped spearhead many of the fundraising efforts and noted two are coming up in the next few months.

Other organizations involved in the efforts include Valley Professionals Community Health Center and the Wabash Valley Community Foundation.
Valley Professionals Community Health Center, located in Terre Haute, will host its first “Putting Health First” golf outing on Friday, Sept. 10, at Rea Park Golf Course in Terre Haute. All proceeds from the fundraiser will support the West Terre Haute clinic and pharmacy, which will be located 600 National Ave., West Terre Haute.
Cost for organizations interested in sponsoring prizes is $1,000, while the cost for a four-team sponsorship is $500. In addition, the cost for a hole sponsorship is $150 – which includes signage.
Those interested in providing sponsorship or participating are encouraged to register by clicking here by July 30. Those interested in providing donations should do so by clicking here.

Sister Dorothy also said another sponsored donation walk through the Wabashiki Fish and Wildlife Area in West Terre Haute is tentatively scheduled to take place sometime in October. Organizers conducted a hike through the area in October 2020 and raised more than $8,000.
At this time, Sister Dorothy said approximately $240,000 of the $500,000 for the facility has been raised. Those responsible for the project began fundraising efforts in 2018.
Additional donations may be sent to the Wabash Valley Community Foundation at 200 S. Eighth St., Terre Haute, 47807.
