Let us pray with you on Giving Tuesday!

For many, Giving Tuesday marks the beginning of Christmas and the holiday season.  Occurring each year on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, it is an important day for many non-profits. This international day of charitable giving serves as a way for them to share their needs and ask for donations to support their mission.

This year on Giving Tuesday instead of asking for your support, the Sister of Providence want to give back to you! During the month of November, the sisters ask you to share your burdens and blessings with us in the form of a prayer request so we can pray with you.

Prayer is an important ministry of the Sisters of Providence. We pray daily for donors, friends, the needs of our world and all those who request our prayers. Life often throws us challenges and the sisters want you to know you do not have to face these problems alone. We are also graced with many miracles, big and small, and we are here to give thanks for those as well. This is our way of showing you how important you are to us.

As it is our practice year round, each request received will be lifted up by a sister in daily prayer. Additionally, on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3, we will present a book with all the intentions from November at our Mass celebration at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. We will ask all those present to help us lift up in prayer all the collected intentions.

We hope by sharing your prayer intentions you will feel loved and supported. You are never alone and we value our relationship with you.
