Alpaca 101: Fundamentals of Alpaca Farming is a hands-on workshop at White Violet Farm Alpacas, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind., near Terre Haute that is scheduled once or twice during the fall and winter months.

We schedule one or two one-day seminars on the fundamentals of alpaca farming from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.(EDT) on a Saturday during the fall and winter months each year. We do not have one scheduled at this time, but will post the details as soon as they are scheduled. Feel free to contact us to add your name to the waiting list to be notified when we know the dates.

The staff of White Violet Farm Alpacas will share our common experience of setting up an alpaca farm. Let us help you avoid common mistakes and assist you with decisions on getting into the business.

This workshop is specifically geared to those people who are thinking about becoming alpaca farmers or those very new in the business.

This is a hands-on workshop, so come dressed to go to the barn and get up-close and personal with some of our alpacas.
