The Connecting Link, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Providence, has assisted more than 3,000 individuals in need of food, money, furniture, clothing or basic services since its beginning in 1997.

The ministry, located at 830 W. National Avenue in West Terre Haute, provides information and referrals to and from other not-for-profit organizations, as well as advocacy within the civic community, to address pressing needs related to social services. The Connecting Link helps clients obtain unemployment, disability and Social Security benefits, and provides information about a variety of topics. The ministry collaborates with other civic, religious and educational groups in the West Terre Haute community.
