Since the canonization of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin, foundress of the Sisters of Providence, in October 2006, we have witnessed a steady and ever-growing stream of pilgrims who come to honor Saint Mother Theodore Guerin and pray for her intercession at her interim shrine in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. We marvel at their devotion and, through their stories of needs and concerns, hear of their faith and trust in Providence.
As we witness this surge of interest in and prayer through the intercession of Saint Mother Theodore, the Sisters of Providence know we need to create a permanent Shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin.
