The Tree of Life recognizes donors to the Sisters of Providence who have given cumulative gifts of $5,000 or more.

The Tree of Life was established in 1986 to recognize constituents who have made cumulative gifts of $5,000 or more to the Sisters of Providence. To date more than 700 individuals have reached that milestone.

Many have used this opportunity to memorialize or honor a loved one or special Sister of Providence.

The Tree of Life is located in the entryway of Owens Hall, a residence building at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, where visitors, sisters and staff view it daily. This recognition piece serves as a reminder of the love, compassion and support offered by so many companions and constituents, without whom the ministries of the Sisters of Providence could not move forward.

If you are interested in becoming a Tree of Life member, contact Sandy Scroggins in the Mission Advancement office at (812) 535-2803 or by e-mail at sscroggi@spsmw.org.

The Sisters of Providence keep all benefactors, constituents, alumnae/i and companions in daily prayer.
