Spring Come and See rotator 2013

Are you a Catholic woman who is curious about religious life today? Are you looking for a way to live out your Baptismal call? Would you like the opportunity to meet Catholic sisters and learn about their prayer, community and ministry life? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, please consider attending our “Come and See” weekend to learn more about the Sisters of Providence life and mission.

The “Come and See” weekend offers single, Catholic women ages 18-42 a supportive, non-threatening introduction into the life of religious sisters. You will meet and spend time with Sisters of Providence. You’ll also have time for quiet prayer, liturgy, group sharing, reflection and fun. You’ll tour the beautiful, peaceful grounds of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods and get to know Saint Mother Theodore Guerin, the foundress of the Sisters of Providence who was canonized the 8th U.S. saint in 2006.

There is no cost to attend the weekend. Housing and meals are provided.

Here’s what a few past participants have said about the weekend:

  • “I felt everyone involved was very open and genuine during discussions. They were easy to talk to.”
  • “The small group discussions were very helpful. I also very much enjoyed the conversation with the sisters in formation.”
  • “Putting my experiences and process into words helps me continue to discern and reflect on my ongoing process.”
