Beginning Weaving with John Salamone

Come join us for a day of weaving instruction. This workshop will give the hands-on experience needed to continue on your own weaving adventures at home. It’s perfect for absolute beginners as well as those looking to brush up on rusty skills. Students will measure yarns, thread looms and weave a project to take home. We will have different styles of looms on hand and will discuss details like learning to read drafts, how to choose fibers and yarns for specific types of weaving, and which looms may be best for your preferred weaving techniques.
