I had many very good Sisters during my school years but my favorite is Sister Regina Shaughnessy.I was in my
first year of high school and had just showed up at school for the last 5 or 6 years. I have a Sister Donna Butler who is my real Sister. I had Sister Regina for Religion. I had already made up my mind that having an actual Sister in the order of Providence that this would buy me a free pass. It did till I met Sister Regina. After getting an F in religion Sister took me out in the hallway and proceeded to let me know that even though I had a Sister in her order that was not going to get the job done in her class. I have been blessed to get to see Sister Regina a few years ago and I thanked her for being the exact kind of Teacher I needed to turn me around. I also remember several weeks later when I almost completely had my tongue cut in two the same Sister who was strict with me just weeks earlier came up to me walking very slowly and handed me a Holy Card and with a look of total sympathy on her face because I was in so much pain. GOD BLESS SISTER REGINA SHAUGHNESSY!

Thanks for sharing your Catholic Sister stories with us! We love Sister Donna, also, so thanks for supporting her as a member of the Congregation!
