The 4-H’ers lead White Violet Farm Alpacas through the obstacle course this morning to complete the 2012 Vigo County Fair alpaca show.
It’s fair week in Vigo County, Indiana and that’s a big deal to hundreds of 4-H’ers who have been working hard on their projects all summer (or longer).
White Violet Farm Alpacas is proudly sponsoring the Vigo County 4-HÂ alpaca club this year.
The alpaca show was this morning and we’re glad to report it was a big success.
Read the article that ran in the Tribune Star on Friday about the alpaca program.
Here are some photos from today.

Beings I have really enjoyed all these girls and alpacas for quite some time now it has been a very good learning experience and enjoyable as well! All the 4H er’s did a great job on all they did this season and we are all proud parents and friends. As the girls involved have a true heart for each of the alpaca’s, we are planning fundraisers to prepare them for the 2012 Vigo County Fair week!
Thanks, everyone, for sharing your thoughts. It has been such a rewarding experience for White Violet Farm Alpacas staff, the kids, AND the alpacas. We’re already looking forward to next year!

This 4-H Club has been one of the most inspiring things I’ve done in my life. Words do not describe how proud I am of each and every member of the club. I love you guys. To the parents, guardians, siblings and tag alongs along the way, I couldn’t have done it without you………I’m super excited about next year.
Wish I could’ve posted this success on Facebook, but there was no FB button. |( Maybe next year?
